Limited run premium pique polos made exclusively for Oki-Ni by Adidas. Three colorways are available, but we like the Punjab. The polo matches the Rod Laver Vintage shoe and is limited to only 100 for each color. That means you have no time to fumble around. Get it while you can.
I was reading an article over at the Times because for some odd reason I was looking for “Kryptonite” and the article detailing Lebrons defeat / Pistons win and I noticed the ad for Polo Ralph Lauren underwear.
Well obviously I clicked, none of the boxers, briefs or boxer-briefs caught my attention but I figured since I made the journey I might as well click and see what else is going on. I clicked the “Big Pony is Back” link, of course the Big Pony has been back for a bit but I really like the Long Sleeved Custom and the Big Pony Hooded Fleece.
I know they both go against my norm for hating large logos adorning clothes and free advertising, but the guy with crossed arms stood out and the hoody (yes hoody) really stood out for some reason. Too bad you can’t custom thse because I would most definitely like to see them in solid colors with a matching Big Pony.
Burberry Golf has an Argyle Polo with raglan sleeves that recently caught my eye. The thing I like about this polo shirt is the logo is not so pronounced, as it is on the sleeve. Even still while on the sleeve it is subtle. I usually don’t agree with many polos as they are either over done, too baggy, too tight or don’t seem to sit right on the upper frame.
This polo from Burberry with its casual look and nice design has somehow found a balance while not begging for too much attention, which is something I look for. One draw back is the Equestrian Knight logo inside the three-button placket. I would think this is here for urban appeal. If so, it is too much as one logo would have been sufficient. Needless to say most men don’t go around wearing polos completely unbuttoned, so it should not be a bother. A nickel short of two-bills.
Whether you call it basic or call it a classic,, the Ralph Lauren Polo is an essential in the wardrobe. It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out or if you are an old veteran when it comes to fashion, at some point you must either own or have owned a some form of this shirt. If you’re a virgin start with this Navy and Antique White variation. If you are one of those who ventured away to sample other garments do yourself a favor and relive the memory of the shirt that defies timelines and finds itself at home around the world, the Ralph Lauren Polo.
