JD Sports located over in the UK has recently unloaded two fine specimens of Nike Air Max 95’s. The pair I prefer you see above. Provided I have a penchant for Air Max’s, these are right up my alley. Dark with slight coloring. The pair pictured has a subtle Baby Blue colorway, just barely noticeable against the black leather. The other pair is still Black but dons Gold highlights. At first I wasn’t digging these. Even though they are Air Max’s, but after fondling some Inside Out and Wood Grain AF1’s and checking the 90’s up close and in person, I’ll give these a green light. Mark them sweet. Zune, I mean brown is cool and is making it happen for quite a few kicks. These 90’s are a part of the Nike “Wood Pack” and par usual for premium kicks from Nike feature a full grain premium leather. Snatch up a pair for yourself.
The Seagle is an ActiveMail exclusive inspired by the Nike commisioned, 6 wheel Seagle, built by Turtle Transit. The Nike 6.0 Oncore has a clear sole with a California state outline on the bottom, “Wood Grain” leather, EVA midsole and of course Zoom Air. More►
Another year, another limited edition birthday kick for Lebron, Nike Zoom style. The Birthday Edition for this year will feature a colorway reminiscent of the Cleveland Cavaliers hardwood classic colors. I usually don’t go for such bright colors, but these Nike Zoom Lebron IV Birthday Edition are sweet! An online Nike.com exclusive, they are expected to release on December 30th. Even though the price is missing in action, with such a hot colorway I don’t expect price to be a problem.
The Air Jordan Fire Red, the shoe, that has many people drooling at their screens as they read this, has been pushed BACK. Nay we say, but at least that gives you time to hustle so you can buy more than one pair. The new release date for the Air Jordan Retro 3 White/ Fire Red – Cement Grey, Feb 24, 2007. Moses Malone, Jamaal Wilkes, Bobby Jones, Calvin Natt, Michael Cooper and Mychal thompson were rocking these before you were dribbling from your bottom lip in onesies. Nike is remembering the old school with AF1’s dedicated to the first six guys to grace the hardwood in the now legendary shoe. Get the names for each shoe here. We are liking the Malones of course (pictured), but a few others are looking to get the approval nod as well.
We snapped this up from a new site, Sneakerfiles. (Welcome to the club!) It is a follow up on part 1 of the 2007 Nike preview. We spotted part 1, elsewhere but sadly there was no major inspiration (Air Max’s being the exception). However, Volume 2 from Nike has me a little more excited. We spotted a few upcoming Air Force One’s recently and thought to share. While we may not be devoted sneakerheads who splurge all of our dividends on the latest limited edition kick that is churned out, we do appreciate great sneakers. We really look forward to seeing what Nike will come up with to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the shoe that can be spotted from Brooklyn to Bangkok, San Fran to France.
The Nike Air Force One pictured above is expected to only be available to shops with Tier Zero accounts. So if you like it act fast. This edition is made from premium leather, croc material and sports a transparent sole to allow you to “see” the air. Expect to catch it in three colorways.
I know it has been dry around here, but everything is okay. Thanks for the outpouring of support while the site was moving slow. Anyway, the Nike Air Force One Premium “Wood Grain” was spotted and I had to let you know about them. Many Nike Air Force Ones get skipped around here but these stand out and I am certain I am not the only one who took notice. More photos below.
Collaborations are great when they work, easily forgotten when they suck. Nike has the Air U breathe Collection, which has received mixed reviews from others but the simple fact it involves an Nike Air Max shoe almost gurantees a winning vote from BigBerries.
