The big announcement today is the Apple iPhone 3G. Putting speculation to rest, buyers now know exactly what features the 3G iPhone will contain when released July 11. 3G data starts at $30 a month, while voice plans will start a $39.99.

The internet was going nuts about Flash on the iPhone, and then Apple releases the SDK and has a press conference. We see Spore on the iPhone, but no copy/paste and no Flash. However, Adobe is stepping it up.

Everything you always wanted in a mobile phone, plus double the storage. Apple rolled out the 16GB iPhone with no fanfare. With no announcement at Mac World the new 16GB iPhone comes as a pleasant surprise. ($499)

The Apple iPhone / Meizu Mini One argument has been swelling since January. Did Meizu copy the Apple once again?

Evidence presented last time I cared to read on this subject says that the Meizu did embrace design cues introduced by Apple at MacWorld in January, but Meizu announced the M8, a full screen mobile, four days prior.

Arguments have sprawled several directions since. Can a “copycat” company produce a superior product at a cheaper price?
