Vodafone and Microsoft Collab for Biz E-Mail

My apologies everybody, this was meant to be posted yesterday but it was stuck in the system.

Vodafone and Microsoft yesterday announced the European launch of Windows Mobile E-Mail from Vodafone.� It’s going to based on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and is going to contain the Messaging and Security Feature Pack (MSFP), along with the new Direct Push technology.

Remember, this is going to be in European markets starting in about a month or so (March). Vodafone will provide Windows Mobile 5.0-powered devices with Direct Push Technology to it’s business customers in France, Germany and the U.K.

Expect this new service to branch into Vodafones other territories later in the year.

Windows Mobile E-Mail from Vodafone will enable mobile phone users Direct Push E-Mail in a format similiar to Microsoft’s Office platform.� Customer will be able synchronize directly from Outlook. Microsoft Office Excel Mobile and Word Mobile attachments can be handled without encumbrance, being viewed, edited and returned.
