The Glow in the Dark Nike Illumination Pack

The Nike Air Max 90 Illumination Pack

Ok Nike has gone “pack” happy and I’m sure the benefit is grand for all but I just wish there was more focus on “pack devlopment”. Some of these recent “Packs” from Nike seem to be thrown together. The again, because there is no consistency and we never know what to expect, we stay tuned in. I was reallly going to hammer the glow in the dark, Nike Illumination Pack, but I’ll be darned if it isn’t growing on me. Included in the scheduled March 1st release are the following

  • Nike Air Max 90 Premium (Black / Voltage Yellow) $100
  • Illumination Pack Nike Dunk High (White/ Radiant Green) $90
  • Nike Blazer High (Black/ Light Photo Blue-White) $65

Sneaker and Streetwear Highlights from Around the Block

Nike Dunk High Premium

Today was a busy day and as some of you can tell we’re a bit behind schedule. A few articles got stuck in la-la land but it’s still on and poppin. In case that post doesn’t appear in your reader, check out these Nike Air Max 95′s. Now on with the show. More►

Nike Air Max 95 at JD Sports

Nike Air Max 95 with Baby Blue

JD Sports located over in the UK has recently unloaded two fine specimens of Nike Air Max 95′s. The pair I prefer you see above. Provided I have a penchant for Air Max’s, these are right up my alley. Dark with slight coloring. The pair pictured has a subtle Baby Blue colorway, just barely noticeable against the black leather. The other pair is still Black but dons Gold highlights. If you are in the UK order yourself a pair here.

Nike Air Max 90 Wood

Nike Air Max 90 Wood

At first I wasn’t digging these. Even though they are Air Max’s, but after fondling some Inside Out and Wood Grain AF1′s and checking the 90′s up close and in person, I’ll give these a green light. Mark them sweet. Zune, I mean brown is cool and is making it happen for quite a few kicks. These 90′s are a part of the Nike “Wood Pack” and par usual for premium kicks from Nike feature a full grain premium leather. Snatch up a pair for yourself.

The Adidas Longline

The Adidas Longline

A lot of focus goes to other shoe companies but Adidas has been making some ferocious kicks recently without all the hoopla. While some of you are snapping up NBA All-Stars, I’d suggest you add the Adidas Longline to the list. The Longline from Adidas has all the markings of a shoe to be remembered.

Not because of a collaboration and not because of a special box. Simplicity and a minimalist application of colors make the Longline from Adidas a winner. Add to that, the mix of materials and sole work, the Longline says it all without trying to be an attention whore. You can pick them up here. (Black and Infrared pictured)

The Puma Tempo

The Puma Tempo

Puma has just kicked out another great sneaker with the re-release of the Tempo. The previous version of the Puma Tempo was made with full grain leather, however the new 2007 model rolls with suede instead. The kicks pictured here feature neon yellow and neon orange blasting against a black backdrop with color matching sole. A good look for the casual cool set.

Nike Zoom Lebron IV Birthday Edition

Nike Zoom Lebrons IV Birthday Edition

Another year, another limited edition birthday kick for Lebron, Nike Zoom style. The Birthday Edition for this year will feature a colorway reminiscent of the Cleveland Cavaliers hardwood classic colors. I usually don’t go for such bright colors, but these Nike Zoom Lebron IV Birthday Edition are sweet! An online Nike.com exclusive, they are expected to release on December 30th. Even though the price is missing in action, with such a hot colorway I don’t expect price to be a problem.

Nike Air Force One Original Six

Nike Air Force One Original Six Moses Malone

Moses Malone, Jamaal Wilkes, Bobby Jones, Calvin Natt, Michael Cooper and Mychal thompson were rocking these before you were dribbling from your bottom lip in onesies. Nike is remembering the old school with AF1′s dedicated to the first six guys to grace the hardwood in the now legendary shoe. Get the names for each shoe here. We are liking the Malones of course (pictured), but a few others are looking to get the approval nod as well.
