The Vice Guide to Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll
Some things need to go without explanation. This is one of them. The title says it all. We do our best to stay good and proper, but sometimes we venture out into the night and do the unthinkable. Is it disinfomation or misinformation? Well, you shouldn’t be reading this type of stuff anyway. Still curious? Pick it up here.
Oh, here’s another winner: VICE Do’s and Dont’s:10 Years of VICE Magazine’s Street Fashion Critiques.
Lupe Fiasco Food and Liquor

Lupe Fiasco dropped recently. If you’ve been under a rock, you’re obviously unaware. Sucks to be you. However, the recent Lupe Fiasco release Food Liquor may be to this generation what Illmatic and Nevermind was over a decade ago to the previous.
A unique collage of sounds and surprising lyrics, Lupe’s words provide a much needed break from gun-clapping, coke-slinging and street life often mercilessly lobbed upon your ears. Musically Food and Liquor stands on its’ own but if you like N.E.R.D., Kanye West or Andre 3000 most likely you would have no problem with Lupe.
I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass

So last week, we did a silent release of the Entertainment section of BigBerries. There is still no link on the navigation bar and probably won’t be for some time, but you will have access through the article links. Last week was a post about FMA and the FMA movie release.
This week the release is music and the most current release of Yo La Tengo, I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass. This album is pretty bold and moves all over the place. You have to listen to it yourself to really appreciate the range and emotion, but I like it.
Fullmetal Alchemist The Movie
If you are not like us and didn’t watch the fansubs, then you can really appreciate the fact that Fullmetal Alchemist The Movie – The Conqueror of Shamballa has been released on DVD ($17.99). Fullmetal was a great series full of hidden messages and underlying themes.
Although we were happy the Cartoon Network finally picked up the series we could never quite get used to the new voices. (Our fault for watching those darn fansubs) The movie picks up where the series ended and attempts to answer many of the remaining questions and finally bring about resolution for the main characters. Followers of the Fullmetal Alchemist series know this is a must have.
