Quick Sprint GPS Info From CTIA

Well, CTIA is winding down. I thought I’d post something for our business readers. It seems Sprint has announced a GPS-enabled service that will let travelers check into hotel rooms as soon as planes touch the runways.

That should help speed up the process a bit as you transition from location to location. Another service being offered up is a GPS dating service that helps you find romance in a ten-mile radius. I guess that goes hand-n-hand with the hotel thing.

Sprint  ,

Samsung D407 and the Samsung A960

Cingular means so much to so many people, however BigBerries will remain silent. Samsung, from reports will be aiming to team up with the carrier giant sometime this quarter, releasing another phone into their possession.

Sprint Wants to Give More Music

Looking to grow Sprint is expanding their partnership with Sirius and considering a subscription model as opposed to the per song fee. The benefit for users and Sprint is tremendous. Sprint was the first carrier to offer mobile music downloads but since has been met with fierce competition.

Making the right adjustments now are mandatory as the the company and the industry as a whole will undoubtedly be impacted by the introduction of the much rumored Apple phone. Also as costs for voice use decline Sprint and other carriers must seek revenue from other streams.
