Last week was a blast! Not as fun as a coke-fueled tour of Thailand but still awesome. 3GSM brought out plenty of handsets to wow us and the release dates can’t come soon enough.
After a hectic day, we glanced back and realized there were a few hot handsets that we missed. Don’t go expecting a surprise comprehensive recap. For that, read TechDigest’s great 3GSM coverage and 3GSM 2007 In-Depth at PhoneScoop. The title pretty much lays it out for this one, the Samsung SGH F520.
Mock-up pictures of what Telecoms Korea is calling the next generation of the LG Prada (LG KE850) handset that Susi Weaser would steal if she could, have emerged. Professional artwork from Engadget aside, specs and detailed information (in English and without subscription) on LG Prada v2 is minimal at the moment.
Nokia, who has not shown any sign of pulling back in 2007 has upped the stakes in the multimedia computing game (what we call mobile phones they call multimedia computers that’s how far ahead of us they are). Today we receive word of the Nokia N91 jumping to a hefty 8GB in hard drive space.
To help you be just as excited as we are, that’s a double up, from 4GB to 8GB. It’s so special Nokia has went ahead a created a special signup page to let you know when you can sell everything you own in your Second Life to look good in your first.
A few weeks back we spotted the miniOne, then dubbed the Meizu M8. Likely the first of many phones that will resemble the LG KE850 and the Apple iPhone. When we first covered the miniOne it was thought to be merely a concept. However, it seems the Meizu R&D department doesn’t take long to figure out what works before they get to building actual devices.

We knew the Nokia N77 would be announced during 3GSM in Barcelona. we just didn’t know exactly when. Many manufacturers let out a flurry of devices, at just the start of the annual week long event. The Nokia N77 was on the minds of many mobile enthusiasts and the company didn’t fail to deliver.
The major feature being touted for the N77 is the use of DVB-H technology, which allows for broadcasting of television on mobile handsets. The Nokia N77 makes good use of the technology with a 2.4-inch display, that boasts 16million colors.
