In-between bulding some of the most fabulous cars in the world for people like Stefan Eriksson of Gizmondo fame to crash, Ferrari has partnered with Meridian Audio to produce the hand-built Ferrari F80 Home Entertainment System. Specs on the Ferrari F80 include CD and DVD for platter play, DAB/FM/AM tuner and three power amps kicking out the sounds for two front speakers and the rear subwoofer. No word on pricing or the 0 to 60.
With 8.1 megapixels and Carl Zeiss 15x optical zoom, the Sony H9 ($480) brings the action up close and personal. Expected to hit store shelves sometime in April, the Sony H9 will allow you to catch even better photos of Britney Spears without the risk of getting slugged with an umbrella.
The Samsung YP-K3 player looks good in red. Just don’t try to snatch this baby up anytime soon, because even though it’s on the Samsung site, it’s not available to snag for Valentine’s Day. Word on the web is that the “Bloody Mary” version of Samsung YP-K3 player is shipping a little later. Maybe March, maybe summer, maybe Q3, maybe.
Fusionsoft shows promise with the 7Star, the company’s recent entry into the PMP/GPS market. Built on established standards like the SiRF Star III chipset and WIndows CE 5.0, the Fusionsoft 7Star is making safebets and making headlines by tossing in a choice of 40 or 80GB hard drives for the device. Other specs on the Korea bound PMP include a 7-inch QVGA display, 128MB SDRAM, 64MB NAND and DivX support right out of the box.
