Aiming for two markets at once, Sony has announced their first VAIO Ultrabook, the Sony VAIO T13. Slated for US release the Sony T13 is equipped with a 13.3-inch display, the latest Ultra Low Voltage Intel processor, hybrid storage ability and unlike the ultra-thin laptops from their competitors, the Sony Ultrabook comes with ports galore. HDMI, VGA, Ethernet an SD slot, plus two USB ports, including one that can charge your phone. While all those ports are aiming for business users, Sony is also targeting the campus crowd by taking design cues from the Macbook Air and encasing the new Sony VAIO T13 Ultrabook in a .71 inch thin magnesium and aluminum chassis. The new Sony laptop has battery life up to 9 hours and comes in at $799.
