Trends come and go, like the seasons. In the world of men’s fashion, some things are staples, whether you like them or not and some things come and go in cycles, just the same. One of those is creased denim.
While reading Denimology, I came across mention of creased denim being a worrying trend, a response to comments made on the Sartorialist. Creased denim is not something I would suggest, but when properly paired, anything is possible.
Cuffed denim / creased jeans is not something to cause the fashion police the need to worry. This trend pops up on occasion and has never (in my lifetime), caught on with more than a few wearers.

The real issue here is how you wear the crease along with the jeans. With the first picture, the crease in the jeans brings the observers eye to the handsome brogues (wingtips), sitting almost perfectly atop the laces.

In the second picture, the jeans are folded under, appear taut, with less character, look uncomfortable and do not compliment the look of the shoe. Take note of the shoe color as chocolate would have been better.
ummm. are you referring to “cuffs” (not creases)
