Well, I have been playing with Google Street View for quite a while. I’m really impressed. Some people are up in arms for no reason, but paranoia is useless. Google Street View has the potential to become more useful than Google Search. Think of all the possibilities.
Planning a trip, but never been there before? Type the address into Google Street View and voila! Not only will you get directions, but a clear, visual of exactly where you will be going. Businesses can use Google Street View as an extention of Google AdWords and include contact information and current promotions.
Combine Google Street View with GPS and you can type in phone numbers to find your child or spouse. When buying a home, not only can you look at the potential home but also the entire neighborhood both day and night to get an idea of the community you’re considering.
Google Street View is not everywhere, but areas of San Francisco, Las Vegas, Denver, Miami and New York are working fine. This is a breakthrough that can change the way business, communication and travel is handled. It almost seems too simple to have such an impact, but given the freedom to grow it can be a great benefit for the world we live.
