Our friends at Nerd Approved have a few tidbits worth sharing. First the important stuff. Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate for $199.99 instead of the $399 $379.99 you’re used to seeing. That’s still not the $5 Windows Vista bargain price you’ll find in India or as good as bypassing Vista activation with Paradox’s solution but it’ll do.
Still more on the PC front is the release of nVidia GeForce Vista Beta Drivers. The new download includes support SLI support of GeForce 6 and 7, compatibility fixes and improved OpenGL performance. Download nVidia Vista Drivers here
Last, but most recent are the O’hEocha Audiophile speakers that run about $9,000. They’re so ugly they’re cute. Hand crafted by a former BMW designer with 200-watt isobanic speakers that boast to “provide the clearest three-dimensional soundstage performance available.”
