The Nokia Eseries devices that were unveiled at 3GSM stood on a theme of connection, collaboration and productivity. The Nokia E61i arrived with an added emphasis placed on productivity. In particular, email productivity and according to Nokia, the Nokia E61i was designed specifically for heavy email use.
Nokia implemented Navi and One Touch keys to provide ease of use for the bevy of email solutions supported by the E61i. Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email, Seven Mobile Mail, Mail for Exchange, Good Mobile Messaging , BlackBerry Connect and a few other consumer email solutions are all supported.
While focused on business email, Nokia knows users want a complete feature set and has also included a 2 megapixel camera and media players for music and video. Pricing for the Nokia E61i is 400 euros, making it a tad over $500 US dollars. Expected delivery is Q2 2007.
