Now that we have the McLaren Mercedes Sharp 770SH and the Samsung Z720M from the McLaren Mercedes matchup out of the way, here is the third handset from the limited edition series, the Sharp GX29. Getting the same Formula 1 racing treatment as the other two handsets in the lineup, the Sharp GX29 comes bundled with a racing game, embedded pictures and ring tones.
At a glance the Sharp GX29 looks almost identical to the Sharp 770SH, but upon closer inspection you can easily notice the differences. Aside from the exterior McLaren Mercedes paint on the clamshell, the Sharp GX29 under the hood is a 2G mobile, with USB 1.1, sporting a VGA camera and beginners Bluetooth (also 1.1).
According to Vodafone all handsets from the McLaren Mercedes series are set to go on sale today Jan 16 in “some Vodafone Operating Companies”.
