What better way to waste your time at the office than having someone like Ms. Dewey respond to your every command? In case you have not heard, Ms. Dewey, which launched recently, is quite possibly a glimpse into the future of search. Simply type in your query and Ms. Dewey “interacts” with you based on your input.
Opinions on Ms. Dewey range from joy to rage (presumably because of the company behind her). However, we think she’s a much needed break from the endless sea of blue and green search links.
At this point Ms. Dewey appears to be merely someone to have “fun” with, as search results, though useful have limited space on the screen. No word on development, updates or why she appeared, but like the mysterious origami website earlier this year, the campaign has quickly spread.
