This year Samsung has really been slinging phones, hot phones at that. The company many initially laughed at is now starting to turn heads and not because of gimmicks either. Now it seems Samsung has some mobile heavyweights shaking in their boots. Pushing lawsuits, 10 megapixel phones and shady employees to the side is the recent Samsung SGH E890 looking every bit of sexy that you can muster into an inanimate object. The candybar styled touchscreen handset recently released in the phone-fabulous Singapore market is loaded with goodies and does just about everything.

The Samsung SGH E890 does a lot and there is probably more that we left out, but what we listed should be enough to get the attention it deserves. Unfortunately the camera on the E890 is only 1.3 megapixels and for that with must give four thumbs down. Talktime and standby time are winners though with the company boasting “up to” times of 230 minutes and 250 hours respectively. The Tri-band handset operates on 900/1800 and 1900Mhz and in Singapore is currently going for approximately $368 without agreement or $304 with. More details at Samsung
