Nokia E62 on Cingular

Announced today as a Cingular “exclusive”, the Nokia E62 is the US version of the Nokia E61. Before the question is raised or the title given, by no means will we even consider this device a “killer” of any sort.

It may be the start of a new “tier” for smartphones, being somewhat barebones even though it is priced higher ($149.99) than the Motorola Q was when it went on sale, but “killer” it is not.
Aiming for business users, the Nokia E62 comes .5-inches thick, with a backlit QWERTY keyboard, nicely sized 320×240 pixel screen, multiple email options, the S60 web browser and ample talking time (up to 5 hours). the Nokia E62 will be available starting September 29th from Cingular.
