The Pantech IM-U140

Another kick-butt phone and guess what? Yup, it’s Korean. The only way you’ll probably touch this is sweet QWERTY-less device is by flying overseas or by finding an unlocked version tucked away on some obscure website. The only thing this Pantech is missing to make SideKick owners run for cover, is a decent keypad. It puzzles us as to why the company didn’t go in for the kill, given the stated desire to improve their position in foreign lands (that means the US). Anyway, the IM-U140 has DMB with TV-OUT, FM receiver, 2.6-ich QVGA 262k color LCD with push-button pop-up goodness and a 3 megapixel camera.

Aside from operating with the push of a button the IM-U140 has a touch-sentive vibrating display screen. The IM-U140 also contains an MP3 player, four channel stereo speakers, and being Korean, an electronic dictionary. Expected release date is sometime during September under the Pantech SKY brand.
