We don’t tend to use the term “killer” around here too often. We know it get clicks, but why sell you the fake stuff? And truthfully what declared “killer” has done the job? Exactly. With that being said, i-Mate looks to be further entrenching itself in the smartphone war with the i-Mate JAQ. Speculation suggests the phone is just another HTC re-badge as usual.
Aside from Bluetooth (v1.2) and the mini SD card slot, the JAQ runs Windows Mobile 5 and also shares the same TI OMAP 850 200Mhz processor as the HTC Excalibur. However, the JAQ is boasting .4 more inches of screen size. If you are in a rush go right ahead and pick up the JAQ, just make sure you pick up a good quality cover. Definitely no killer, but another option for the impatient and the “must have” crowd.
