Skull & Crossbone cufflinks

This pair of skull and crossbone cufflinks is one that really stood out. The set is made from antiqued silver and where the next pair of cufflinks excel in subtlety, this pair is more aggressive and takes the overt approach.

However, as with all things fashion the person with the right attitude can most definitely pull it off. Notice that it is the attitude that allows one to do things with style. There are also tuxedo studs made in the same fashion but I truly hope no on wishes to display that much attitude. ($150)

The next pair I found while perusing the Early Fall 2006 Collection from the Ralph Lauren Purple Label. Despite the fact of this pair of cufflinks being a depiction of a skull and crossbone they somehow manage to display a measure of sophistication.

Purple Label Skull & Crossbone cufflinksAs cufflinks go, this is a pair that subtly provokes the thought that yes, you are being casual, but no you are not a fool. They hint a being playful but don’t beg for attention. Often cufflinks characterized as whimsy or playful go too far and miss the mark.

I believe this is a pair that allows the wearer to take a step away from tradition but still remain elegant. ($225)

Edit: With NFL season brewing both would be great for games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or with the Oakland Raiders. They would not be good at funerals or weddings, especially if you are the groom!
