The company that makes one of the coolest devices you don’t own, today unloaded the next generation onto their lineup. Segway, known for the personal transporters that often appear in off-beat sci-fi flicks has added newly revised versions of the i2 and x2 to their arsenal.

The upgraded models now include LeanSteer technology, which allows for greater control through interpretation of body movements, design enhancements also have been made to the i2 and x2 to keep the user in a stable and comfortable positions while using the devices.

Prices are $4995 for the i2 and off-road variation of the x2 runs about $5495.

The street model version of the i2 is available now. You have to hold off for at least another month before you can get your hands on the x2. For more info visit Segway.
