Apple today announced the Mac Pro, completing the shift over to Intel. Intel Dual Core 64bit Xeon processors, which run up to 3GHz. 4MB of shared L2 cache, a sweet 1.33GHz Front Side Bus, four channel 256-bit 667MHZ memory.
Starting at $2,499, the Mac Pro gets you two 2.66GHz dual-core Xeon processors, 1GB of memory, 250GB storage and nVidia GeForce 7300GT gfx card.
From there it is only your desire holding you back as 3GHz proccessors, 16GB of RAM, 2 terrabytes of storage and upgraded video including an nVidia Quadro FX4500 or a Radeon X1900 XT are some of the options at your disposal.
