Apple says it has reached agreements with Ford, GM and Mazda to enable easier connections with the iPod. As a result more than 70 percent of next years cars (2007) will be iPod compatible.
According to Apple, GM really went out and will offer iPod connection on every model it produces. The iPod feature will charge the device while it plays and will store the iPod in the glovebox. A “personal audio link” may be available as early as October for some GM models, for less than $160.00 plus installation.
