Transformers is hoping to be next summers hit movie, with a July 4th 2007 release. Grab a Transformers DVD of the original 1986 animated theatrical release and see Megatron put his cannon to good use. A remastered 20th Anniversary Edition DVD is set to drop later this year.
Optimus Prime, also known to some readers as Commander Convoy is being released by Takara from their Masterpiece Collection, complete with his trailer. This is expected to sellout and pre-ordering is suggested. Optimus / Convoy is scheduled for a September 28th release in Japan, late October release worldwide.
