Taking inspiration from a hand-held fan the Nokia “Open” is a concept phone that with the press of a button reveals a scrolling touch screen. With E-paper soon to become a standard and micro sized projectors, a phone with these type of features and technology could be here within the next 5 years. The Hugo Danti design is a eye pleasing inspiration taken from existing technologies and applying them in a unique way. Hopefully Nokia will take a hard look at this, considering the design was the 1st prize project during the Nokia 4G mobile concept competition, this concept phone may become a realty.
