Since we’re running back-to-back news these days why not go with this as a follow-up to England’s World Cup phone. Engadget recently reported that the highly anticipated device SideKick 3 or SideKick III depending on marketing has been spotted on the FCC website.

The product roadmap that was leaked sometime ago as well as pictures which of course fueled desire for this popular device. Sharp’s FCC documents are loaded with confidentiality requests for 45 days so expect more details somewhere near the end of May or early June.

Across the water the device is known as the Danger HipTop in the US Sharp is the manufacturer whether it’s actually going to be called SideKick 3 or Sidekick III is still in the air, but really who cares? We just want a new device.

The device is said to have Bluetooth but thus far the BigBerries opinion is that the Sidekick 3/III is lacking some of the more current features people are starting to expect from flip-top, thumb fumbling, text-message orientated devices.
