Anti-Virus Mobile 2.0 has been released in beta. The program targets viruses and suspect SMS and MMS messages. Like traditional virus software, periodical updates will be available and can be accessed by HTTP or WAP.
Anti-Virus Mobile functions with mobile handsets using Symbian 6.1, 7.0s, 8.0, 8.1 and Series 60.
The second beta is expected to support Symbian Series UIO and Windows Monbile 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.0 If you sign up for beta testing Kaspersky has stated free software will be available when released commercially.
