Billboard music said it will start ranking ringtones and will publish a chart accordingly. The chart will be titled, Hot MasterTones. The data used to rank the ringtones will be from Nielsen Mobile. Each week the top-20 ringtones will be charted.

With the ringtone market jumping $100 million a year, i figure it is time to start tracking them.
BigBerries From the source:Billboard estimates global ringtone sales racked up $4.4 billion in 2005, up from $3.7 billion the previous year. Much of that growth was due to sales of master ringtones, according to the magazine.
