The Motorola iDEN i580 clamshell styled handset is made to meet military standards against, blowing rain, dust, shock and vibration.
The i580 also features push-to-talk features and enhanced support for the visually impaired, which allows such users the ability to navigate phone menus used while placing and receiving calls.
One touch two-way communication is available on the continental US, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Peru and Argentina.
The phone is expected to be released during Q2 2006
