Microsoft Email Gets Pushed Around by Orange

Startiing 3 April 2006 according to Geekzone , Orange Business Solutions’ subscribers will be able to access the Windows Mobile 5.0 push email solution.

IT departments don’t fret, in fact, you can rejoice, as much similar to a recent RIM announcement, Orange is also releasing a software solution which allows mass installations in the corporate environment.

Direct Push technology is a key component in Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0.

The push features allow users to take advantage of the familiar Outlook user interface as well as receive, edit and send documents from key Microsoft applications required for business, Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Orange will offer Windows Mobile E-mail on the Orange SPV C600 (pictured), the SPV M5000, as well as the SPV M600.

If you want the new features but don’t plan on upgrading your device, Orange will provide a free download option.
