
MobileWhack has reported regarding recent FCC activity, the approval of another Samsung mobile phone. The phone from the company to receive that approval, is the SCH-A870. It is being reported the phone will make its first appearance on US soil through Verizon Wireless.
The Bluetooth enabled Samsung SCH-A870 when released through Verizon, will feature the carriers VCAST Music Service.
Verizon’s VCAST Music Service allows for full music / media portablity between PC and mobile phone allowing playing and purchase on either device.
VCAST, when coupled with SCH-A870′s media player allows users access to an enormous amount of music and media. A 2 megapixel camera, MicroSD memory, EV-DO network support and high-speed web access round off the key features of Samsungs recently approved device.
Talk and Standby times are currently unavailable, however it is known that the phone will operate on CDMA 800 / 1900 networks.
