Rumors and speculation have been swirling but now it’s official. Six new phones from Sony Ericsson and two of the new additions to the lineup have the Sony Cybershot brand attached to them.
The two new mobile phones the Sony Ericsson K790 and the Sony Ericsson K800 will both feature 3.2 megapixel cameras, internet access, media players for both music and video and support for the Sony Memory Stick Micro also known as the M2.
Pictured here is the Sony Ericsson K800, the K790 which looks almost identical does not have the lense embedded with the speaker just above the screen.
In addition to the Sony Cybershot capability, both mobile phones handle Bluetooth, allow video streaming, video calls and feature Best-Pic technology. Best-Pic allows you to take several photos with only pushing the button once.
Exact release dates currently are not available however the new phones are expected to be released sometime in the second quarter this year (2006).
